We recently published our annual Summary Funding Statement (SFS) for the Defined Benefit (DB) section of the Scheme, which sets out the financial position of the Scheme. This year we have simplified and reduced the content to make the information clearer and easier to understand.
A statement like this is sent to you each time new funding information become available, to keep you up to date, comply with pension legislation and help you understand more about the funding of the Scheme.
Also note that although the Scheme has both a Defined Contribution (DC) section and a DB section, this statement refers only to the financial strength of the DB section. Members of the DC section receive individual statements of the value of their funds on an annual basis.
