With your RS Group pension, you’re already making valuable provision for your own financial future; however, did you know that your pension can also benefit your loved ones if you die whilst a member of the Scheme? That money could make a real difference to them at a difficult and stressful time.

Certain death benefits are paid at the discretion of the Scheme Trustee, so that they aren’t affected by tax. The Trustee will normally follow your wishes when it comes to deciding who should get the money. To make that decision straightforward for them, it’s really important for you to complete an Expression of Wish (EoW) form.

It may have been a while since you checked your EoW details. You can check whether your EoW has been completed - and update the details if necessary - via your online pension account. Just go to portal.hartlinkonline.co.uk/rspensions to get started.

It only takes a couple of minutes to register for online access if you haven’t already. Just follow the steps on the portal homepage and input your details, including your National Insurance number.
