Since April 2015 the Trustees of occupational schemes providing defined contribution (DC) benefits have been required to prepare an annual governance statement signed by the Chair, which forms part of the Annual Report and Accounts. This year, in line with statutory requirements, the Chair’s Statement includes additional information on costs and charges including illustrations of the costs and charges paid by a typical member on their retirement saving pots.
